PHDC Contractor Requirements
PHDC is interested in securing both large and
small construction contractors to provide services in its various housing
programs.
Contractors who are interested in working with
PHDC are required to undergo a pre-qualification process prior to being
accepted for PHDC work. The pre-qualification process requires that
all contractors submit the following information to PHDC:
- A
completed bidders questionnaire form #20-D-445
- A
recent financial statement form #20-D-445A (or recent tax filing).
- A
documented track record of rehabilitation in residential housing (if
a contractor) with appropriate dollar amounts & references.
- Appropriate
licensing if a specialty contractor.
- A
copy of your privilege business license and trade license.
- Evidence
of a checking or savings account in your companys name.
- Three
business references and their contact information.
- If
a corporation, a copy of the articles of incorporation. If a partnership,
copy of the partnership agreement.
- No
current city, state or IRS tax liens.
- A
list of any past and present legal suits filed relating to PHDC, City
of Philadelphia, Redevelopment Authority or PHA against your existing
or prior business with appropriate explanations.
The above application will
be reviewed by staff and the PHDC Pre-qualification committee prior
to pre-qualification.
